Summer - the time for outings and holidays
In the summer, it can be as hot as 32°C
(90°F) but mostly the temperature only reaches 26°C. The average high in
London from June through August is around 70°F/21°C and the average low
is around 51°F/12°C.

Britain's highest temperature recorded is 38.5°C (101.3°F ) in Brogdale, Kent (south east England) on 10 August 2003.

Winter - the time for snow and frost
The average winter temperature is 38.6°F/3.7°C. Normally, the UK gets 13 inches (332 mm) of rain sleet and snow each winter.
