Winter Coat

Nah, after I shared about tips to buy winter coat, now I want to share about winter coat it self. I copied from : http://www.askmen.com/

As the Christmas decorations go up and the sun seems to set earlier and earlier each day, it's time to find a new winter coat or jacket to bundle up in. Style options aplenty, we talked to a few menswear designers to get their picks for what to have this season.

Topcoats
The topcoat is a lightweight overcoat that ends at or right above the knees, and J.Crew's Single-Breasted Ludlow Topcoat is the brand's winter take on this classic style. A favorite of J.Crew Menswear Director Frank Muytjens, he loves the material, "beautiful, felted wool from France", and notes navy to be his top choice.

"It's woven really tight to give it that felted look," he says of the style, adding that it keeps the cold out as well, "so it's super functional." On the design, Muytjens says: "We’ve always had a top coat in the line that fit nicely over our Ludlow suit, while still looking slim and tailored. With the Ludlow topcoat in French wool we updated it with peaked lapels to give it a sharper, modern edge. When I wear it, it definitely makes me feel more sophisticated."
Since it's such a versatile piece, the coat can go with everything. Muytjens says he loves to wear his with raw jeans, work boots and a big scarf. "I also love it with tonal dress pants and a navy cashmere crew neck. Top it off with black wingtips — I can't think of anything more sophisticated."
"I'm also a big fan of scarves and different ways to wear them. For a dressier, gentsy look with the scarf and the coat, just throw it over your neck and follow the lapel of the topcoat to form a v-neck shape over your chest."
Two other topcoats to have this winter are Zara's Grey Checked Coat (for a plaid coat that makes a simple statement on its own — see below) andH&M's Wool Blend Coat (a mixed ploy and wool style with faux leather detailing).

Duffle Coats
Another classic winter coat style is the duffle coat, which was traditionally made from woolen cloth called duffel and features four toggle fastenings. Brands are giving their modern take on the classically British style this season and among them is EXPRESS.
"We’ve seen duffles as a huge trend," shares EXPRESS Senior VP of Men's Design, Dean Micklewhite. "Our EXPRESS wool duffle coat is cleaner and very modern compared to the classic. We’ve simplified it and added leather binding and trims," Micklewhite adds.

On how to style the wool duffle coat (which is only available in-store), he says: “It’s very versatile because you can wear it to the office with dress pants and a shirt and tie, which updates a wear-to-work look, or you can dress it down with a crew neck sweater and sweatpants and sneakers for a more downtown casual look.”
Two other duffle coats to have this winter are Sandro's Wool Duffle Coat (a sleek mixed-fabric take on the classic) and Marc New York's Wesley (for a plaid and blocked option — see below).
Parkas
A North American classic winter weather coat, the parka originated from the Caribou Inuit in Northern Canada and Montreal-based menswear brand e-tailer Frank & Oak has a great take on the style.
Frank & Oak Co-founder Ethan Song's favorite from the new outerwear collection is the Sherpa-Lined Hooded Parka in black. "I like the clean design combined with the soft and functional Sherpa wool, especially for our cold Montreal winters," he says, adding that it was inspired by "Scandinavian landscapes and contemporary architecture. The sherpa material and tonal blocking simultaneously embrace traditional design and modern, sophisticated minimalism."
His styling formula for the parka is simple: "Style with a pair of black selvedge denim, an oxford shirt, a warm wool tuque and white sneakers, and you're all set for a weekend in the countryside or just an afternoon walk to take in the crisp air."
Two other parkas to have this winter are Wemoto's Mountain Parka (for its color blocked style — see below) and DC Shoes' Tick Snow Jacket (which is a heavy-duty parka).

Down & Insulated Jackets
For an even sportier winter style, the quilted down jacket is always a good choice. Originally designed in America by Eddie Bauer in 1940, the classic down jacket has been modernized over the years. For example, New York-based premium performance apparel brand ISAORA has the Combo Down Moto Jacket this season, a down vest with leather sleeves.
"It's like having two essentials jackets in one or, in other words, half the spend, but all the glory," says ISAORA co-founder Marc Daniels. "We’ve always had a thing for leather biker jackets but we hadn’t yet come across one that was perfectly winter-proof," Daniels shares.
"By integrating the classic padded calfskin sleeves, lining them with special forces-grade Primaloft Gold insulation, then integrating them with a high-density goose down vest and making the whole thing in Italy, we think we’re well on our way to meeting winter head-on."
Two other down and insulated jackets to have this winter are Lululemon Men's Mile High Blazer (this water and wind-resistant insulated jacket has Lycra side panels for flexibility) and Barbour's Heritage Liddesdale Slim Fit Quilted Jacket (with an updated tailored cut and soft corduroy collar — see below).

Top 10 Fashion Tips For Men Including How To Buy The Right Winter Coat

Hola, winter is already come so here some few tips to buy a new winter coat, I copied it from : http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/
If you're looking to ring in the new month with a fashion splurge but aren't entirely sure where to begin then don't sweat it.
We've got some tips and tricks to help you make a handful of nifty purchases this season - all thanks to Charlie Gardiner from men's fashion and lifestyle event Off The Rails.

10 top tips for men shopping their winter wardrobe:
1) Topnotch outerwear
In the winter we spend most of our time in outerwear so its key to have a couple of options that are practical and comfortable yet stylish.
Steer clear of the old school sports brands that are bulky and brand label driven and make you look like you’ve stepped out of a mountaineering tour.
Instead there are a selection of newer brands that are more Scandinavian inspired – minimal, not over branded, non bulky and very practical which I’d recommend.
Try Parka London for a range of Parkas, Stutterheim for minimal rainwear andHancock for great overcoats using innovative waterproof fabrics.

2) Fit of the jeans
If you’re like me and spend a lot of time in denim it's important that it fits well. Opt for high quality as cheap high street jeans will lose their shape overnight.
Go for simple styles by avoiding large buckles, oversized pockets and anything too fussy or that looks bulky. Most importantly, find the perfect fit that suits your shape.
Try brands including Natural SelectionJ LindebergDuel Denim and Waven.
3) The perfect shirt
No matter what your shape ensure that you find the perfect fitting shirt, a wardrobe staple that’s going to smarten up a pair of jeans instantly for that smart-casual look day to day or be the perfect finish to your suit.
You can go fully made to measure from tailors such as Mr StartJohn Kruger,Richard Anderson through to more casual day shirt offerings from Julius Errol Flynn, Brutus and Dundas.

4) Don’t be afraid to inject some color and pattern
Reflect your personality and add a bit of fun into your wardrobe to brighten up those duller days. You don’t want to go down the Xmas jumper route but think simple patterns and a splash of color especially in knits to brighten up a winter look.
Lyle & Scott x Jonathan Saunders has just launched a runway collection of styles,Notch London focus on more delicate weaves, Peter Jensen for something quirky orPeter Werth for the more classic patterns.
5) The power suit & tailored coat
There’s nothing sharper than the perfect fitting suit and tailored overcoat. It instantly transforms how you look and feel. If you can afford to then you must go made-to-measure or fully bespoke.
If you are on a budget then try and find a deal on an off-the-peg suit in the sale and get it fitted.

6) Brighten it up with accessories
If you’re not feeling confident enough to delve into colour or print then you can always add a bit of fun with some great accessories - from a colorful pocket chief or bow tie to bright socks or a patterned scarf.
Try the pocket chief range from Pocketchief; ties, bow ties & tie clips from Marwood; fun socks from London Sock Co or Archer & Peynton; and scarves from Edition Scotland.
7) Shoes, shoes, shoes
There’s nothing worse than ill-fitting ugly shoes. Its just not a good look.
Make sure you have at least three pairs of good shoes in your wardrobe rather than one pair that get worn to death.
You should have a pair for special occasions such as weddings, a smart pair of brogues or monk straps that can be worn day to night, and a more casual pair of soft suede shoes for everyday.
Try Oliver Sweeney shoes for fun classics, Hudson for casual day shoes, Bobbies for colourful loafers or easy winter classics, ohw? for sports-luxe inspired footwear andBarker for classic Brogues.

8) Sunglasses and specs
The devil’s in the detail. Don’t destroy your winter look with old dodgy glasses or cheap sunnies that you’ve picked up from a market in Thailand. There are so many good sunglasses and optical brands in the market now with great frame selections and bespoke services if you needs lenses.
For fully bespoke glasses for under £120 try Cubbitts, for the cooler more fashion savvy try Linda Farrow - think every actor and musician you know, this is their brand of choice - or try Finlay & Co. for something a little more 'English gentleman'. They focus on wooden effect frames - very quirky.
9) Bags of style
If you need to carry a briefcase or bag to work on a daily basis then you must ensure that you’ve got something either minimal with clean lines or super slick.
For a classic British leather satchel, hold all, backpack or day bag try Jas MB; for a selection of tweed or slick minimal leather try Cherchbi and for something more modern try Cote & Ciel.

10) Grooming is key
You’ll never carry off looking smart this winter if you’re still rocking that dodgy out of date haircut or straggly beard.
At Off The Rails we've partnered with Murdock London Barbers & Grooming salon to offer a quick and easy tidy up for your hair (and beard) on the go. It doesn’t have to be a full on trip to the hairdressers - these guys are old school barbers that are the masters of a nifty masculine tidy up.

Best Men's Hairstyle on Spring 2014

I have shared about what seasons are in the Britain, it is winter in Britain but I want to prepare looks in next spring, here are some of top haircut in 2014. Based on the tittle I want to share about men hairstyle, as usual it is not my own article. I copied it from : http://www.menshairstyletrends.com.

Spring is here and that means no more winter hats to cover up and mess up here. Get a fresh, clean update for the warmer weather with one of these top men’s hairstyles of 2014! These are the most popular styles, hottest cuts, and best looks this season.

1. The Undercut
Hipster-Hair-for-Guys-
We can’t stop talking about the undercut and here’s why. It looks cool, clean cut, and looks great on everyone and hair type. And wear it with a beard? Hell, yes. Last but not least, this is the best cut for summer, eliminating all hair except for the length on top that you can style slick, spiky, messy, or not at all.

2. Side Part
Top-Mens-Hairstyles-2014-
One of the many variations on the popular slick hair is wearing it with a deep side part. This hairstyle if formal enough for a wedding or work but looks great in any setting. To achieve volume without grease, crust, or shine check out Lock Stock & Barrel Pucka Grooming Creme.

3. Tapered Sides
Cool-Hairstyles-for-Thick-Hair-2014-
An update to the undercut is wearing sides longer on top and tapering down towards the neck. This is an excellent option to tame thick hair. Or combine the taper with the undercut with an inch or two of longer hair at the top and shorter sides and back below the top of the year. Either way, this creates a dapper silhouette.

4. One Side
Mens-Hairstyle-Trends-2014-
Slick hair worn to one side has been a major trend for over a year now. If it’s a great look for you, take it to the next level with a cut that angles to one side. Similar to Richie Hawtin‘s angular cut, this is an easy to style cut with lots of options. If you’re concerned about a high forehead or receding hairline, this is a stylish and flattering choice.

5. The Beard
Beard-Styles-2014-
Facial hair is definitely up there in the men’s trends for 2014. If you can grow a thick, full beard like the one above, do it! For men with lighter hair colors or finer hair, beards are still possible. They will just look better shorter, groomed to about 1/8″ or shorter. Check out this beard grooming guide for product recommendations to soothe against itch, moisturize coarse beard hair, and the best beard trimmer.

Introduction

Huh, finally I can recover my old gmail. It takes a long time to recover it, why does google.com asking me something I did not know or I just forgot I have ever put that information there. Okay well let me introduce my self now, my name is just like my blog address Dwi Surya Burder (Its Dwi Surya actually, Burder is a given name gave by my lovely ex. Why still I using it? I like that last name.) I'm a student in an academy and I am working also as a Hotel Receptionist. I am a dreamer to, a lot of dream that I have but none of it become true until now, how pitty am I? I have 2 brothers and 1 sister Ryan, Julian, and Monica. My big brother Ryan passed away since he was born, my father said that he is the most handsome son in our family. Julian is my second brother he takes a Bachelor in Economic majority, he is smart, now he is working on his project to get 20 million from Government, clever right? Monica my little sister is senior high student, she is a good singer especially in Dangdut or Melayu.

I have a several hobby such as reading novel, walking around the street and running, bicycling also. I am not a fabulous person I just have a little grace, thanks Allah. Inversely me and my 2 sibling Julian and Monica does not like reading, they mostly spend their time to singing all day long, yes! They are a good singer. Me also but I am not as good as my siblings, I have ever joined vocal class and become a solo singer in senior high and I have a group named Acil-acil, we are mr, Ichtiary, Ita, Viyona and Rudy. We are a good team in our era.

So, that is a little about me. Wishing I write it in correct grammatically.
